How to add a central island in a compact space ?
It is absolutely possible to include a central island in your compact kitchen. Simply choose an island that is shallow, light and, most importantly, still functional. A little tip : if you are integrating your hob into your central island, avoid installing a ceiling-mounted extractor fan, as this would be less visually appealing and reduce space. Instead, choose a hob with a built-in extractor fan.
